Leadership campers are already here, while the remaining campers are making their way to Muncie, Indiana for the 2017 Music for All Summer Symposium. For some it is a new adventure, those returning are easily excited to see familiar faces and surroundings; however, for myself and Emily Ambriz it is more than work, more than a music camp, but it is a homecoming to the campus and school that provided four unforgettable years.

On top of working together at Music for All together, both Emily and I are proud Ball State alumni as well as CCIM alumni. (Not to mention we are loyal New England Patriots fans living in Indianapolis). Being back on campus is always a highlight of our year. We know that during the week you will have your own memories across campus. However, we want to show you our favorite spots across our beautiful campus.

We both invite you to our alma mater this week and we hope you have a life-changing experience at camp. This campus has brought us many memories, as well as the education that propelled us to our careers today. You will experience campers from all types of backgrounds and faculty members that will push your limits. Just know that this week will mold you into the strong, independent leaders not only in a school setting, but from the first day of camp and beyond. Because Ball State gave us professors to push us the extra mile and friendships out of complete strangers, we proudly hold the keys to our own destiny and the journey we call life. Now go out and make this camp experience the best ever.

P.S.
RIP Gum Tree!
