Placement Hearing Information for Marching Band Division

Sheet music for Marching Band is available below. Richard Saucedo’s arrangement of the National Anthem must be learned and memorized prior to your arrival at camp. Carolina Crown music does not have to be memorized but should be worked on as much as possible. If more than one part is written for your instrument, please practice the part that you are most comfortable with.

Please select your part from the links on this page. When choosing your part, please consider the following:

• We need a balanced ensemble. If you play a part at camp that is different than what you play at home, it may not have anything to do with your playing ability. We need to consider the full ensemble.
• Your most consistent range and where you sound the best on your instrument.

There will be no audition for parts. However, sectional staff may (and likely will) need to adjust parts on Monday at sectionals.
