John Fitzgerald is the Manager of Recreational Music Activities for Remo Inc, a freelance percussionist, a graduate of Village Music Circle, HealthRHYTHMS and Beat the Odds facilitator trainings, is a graduate of the Newfield Network coaching program, member of the International Coaching Federation, the Drum Circle Facilitators Guild and the Percussive Arts Society.
Creating deeper awareness in service of positive change for individuals, communities and organization a primary aspect of all of John’s work.
John Fitzgerald, Manager of Recreational Music Activities for Remo Inc, is a percussionist trained rhythm event facilitator, and leadership coach. Creating valuable partnerships with those who share the common vision of music as a tool for wellness, education, and a better life, is central Remo Inc.’s mission and a primary aspect of all of John’s work.
John received a BFA in performance from California Institute of the Arts, and has developed programs for the Mark Taper Forum, Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and the Los Angeles Opera in-school programs and composed and performed for numerous films and theatrical productions.
John studied Ontological Coaching with Newfield Network, Somatic Coaching at the Strozzi Institute, facilitation with Arthur Hull, founder of Village Music Circles, and has taken the HealthRHYTHMS Group Empowerment Drumming Facilitation Training. John is chairperson of the Interactive Drumming Committee at the Percussive Arts Society and is a member of the International Coach Federation, Los Angeles Chapter.
