Brittany Mori is the Assistant Band Director at Lost Mountain Middle School in Kennesaw, Georgia. Mrs. Mori has worked with the Marching Band Division of the Summer Symposium since 2010, and volunteered as a member of Team SWAG from 2007-2009. She is currently a staff member of the award-winning Harrison High School Marching Band, and serves as a woodwind clinician throughout Cobb County and Metro Atlanta. Mrs. Mori received her Master of Music Education degree from The University of Georgia and Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from James Madison University. While at JMU, Mrs. Mori served as Drum Major of the 500-member Marching Royal Dukes, including their televised performance in the 2008 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. She continues to actively perform as a clarinetist with the Cobb Wind Symphony under the direction of Mr. Alfred L. Watkins. Mrs. Mori currently resides in Kennesaw, Georgia with her husband, Koji, who is also a music educator. Mrs. Mori’s professional affiliations include: the National Association for Music Education, and Georgia Music Educators Association.
