Danielle Geier is a secondary English teacher, teaching sophomores, juniors, and Creative Writing at Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, WI. Geier received her Honors B.A. in Secondary English Education from Murray State University. She spun in the Morton High School Marching Band for 6 years (middle and high school), marched for 2 years with the Murray State University Racer Band, and 3 years with The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps (2010, 2011, 2014). She also danced and choreographed in college for the student dance company and choreographed musicals as well. This is her 8th year coaching color guard. She has directed, written, and taught at Marshall County H.S., Calloway County H.S., and Morton High School, and is currently coaching and writing for the Waukesha North High School color guard and Waukesha United Wintergaurd. She has also worked with dance line (color guard) in Corozal, Belize as a part of my student teaching experience. Geier attended MFA Summer Symposium for 4 years during high school (advanced and master class), marched in the 2009 Tournament of Roses Honor Band with BOA, and participated as a director in the CGIA last year. This is her second year on board the MFA guard staff.
