Travis Nestor

Originally from Clarksburg, WV, Travis received his Bachelor’s Degree in music education from West Virginia University (2012) and his Master’s Degree in percussion performance from the University of Louisville (2014).  During his schooling, Travis played Bass 2 at Spirit of Atlanta in 2009, and quads at the Blue Stars in 2010 and 2012, where he aged out as the quad line section leader.  Travis was the quad line technician for Tates Creek Indoor Percussion for the 2013 and 2014 WGI seasons, as well as the quad line and visual technician at Three Rivers Indoor Percussion for the 2015 season.  Travis was also the adjunct percussion professor at Alderson-Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia for the 2014-2015 school year.  Travis currently lives in Morgantown, WV and attends WVU, where he just finished his coursework for his DMA in Percussion Performance and is focusing his research in the music of fife and drum.
