The first 150 directors to register for the Sweetwater Director Academy can attend for just $399 (full week) or $349 (either three-day option).

Payment Plans

Payment plans are available for the Summer Symposium registration fee!

Payment plans are only available if you pay with a credit card when registering your student in UltraCamp.

Payment plans can be selected during checkout in UltraCamp. If a monthly payment plan is selected, your card will immediately be charged with a non-refundable deposit of $250. The remaining balance will be broken up over the remaining months.

For example: If you sign your student up for 2024 Summer Symposium during the 2023 Symposium Week, you’ll be eligible to lock in the lowest price of $899. If you select a monthly payment plan, you’ll be charged $250 at checkout, then $59 monthly until June 1, 2024.

Scholarships

Scholarships are available to students and directors attending the Summer Symposium.

Note for band directors about TBA Registrations: You can reserve spots and pay in advance for “Pre-Registered” students. For example, you may choose to register and pay for your school’s drum major(s) to attend the Drum Major Institute before your drum major auditions have concluded. However, you must provide names for these Pre-Registered spots (TBA Registrations) by June 1 or a $20 change fee per application will apply.

Registration, Leadership Weekend: 8:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024
Opening Session, Leadership Weekend: 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024
Leadership Weekend Ends: 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2024
Registration, Full Week: 8:00 a.m., Monday, June 24, 2024

Supervision is available beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday (June 23) for full-week campers, and 6:00 p.m., Friday (June 21) for Leadership Weekend for students who select to add an “extra night” on their registration.

Students who attend Leadership Weekend + Full Week of camp do not need to attend Monday morning full-week registration. They only need to attend the Saturday morning Leadership Weekend Registration.

Cancellation Policy, Late Fees, & Change Fees

Cancellations:
Before June 1
Music for All will retain $250 as a non-refundable deposit portion of the registration fee and will refund the balance paid.

After June 1
Music for All will retain 100% of the registration fee – no refunds.

Late Fees:
After June 1
$75 late registration fee applies if an applicant registers or pays after June 1

Change Fees:
Change fees will be applied if any of the following changes are made to an existing registration after June 1

  • Roommate change
  • Housing Date Change
  • Late receipt of “to be announced” registration student names from directors
Director Housing

Your housing fee is based on the price of a double room in a BSU residence hall. Upgrades to a single room or hotel accommodations are available for adult campers at an additional cost. Upgrades are not available for students.

Bring your students and save! Receive $50 off your registration fee for each of your students who attends a student division at the Music for All Summer Symposium.

Meals

Full-week meals for campers begin with dinner on Monday and end with breakfast on Saturday.

Leadership meals begin with dinner on Saturday and end with lunch on Monday.

Shuttles

To fill out the Air Travel Information Form, please log into your UltraCamp account. Then click on your student’s name, click to expand My Forms, and click Complete a New Form.

Select the Air Travel Information Form that applies to your shuttle reservation, fill it out completely, and hit submit.

If you will need a shuttle to or from the Muncie Bus Station, or have questions regarding shuttles, please email symposium@musicforall.org.

Additional Nights

(For registered participants only, for travel purposes)

Friday, June 21, 2024: Residential – $95
For participants arriving the night before the Leadership Weekend begins. Includes Friday night double room in residence hall and meals beginning with dinner Friday, June 21 through lunch Saturday, June 23.

Sunday, June 23, 2024: Residential – $95
For participants arriving the night before the Full Week Symposium begins. Includes Sunday night double room in residence hall and meals beginning with dinner Sunday, June 23 through lunch Monday, June 24.

** After June 1 a fee of $20 applies to all housing changes
*** After June 1 any new registrations will be assessed a $75 late fee
****No accommodations can be made for extra nights AFTER the end of camp

Early Departures

Departing camp early requires the completion of the Early Departure Form before arriving on campus.
