Ed Roush has been a music educator for the past twenty-five years in the states of Colorado, Texas and Hawaii. He has taught students at the middle, junior and high school levels as well as being on the education team of multiple drum and bugle corps.
During his teaching career, Mr. Roush has been a part of a Drum Corps International World Championship, a finalist at Bands of America Grand National Championships, 16 Colorado Bandmasters Association State Band Championships, 3 Colorado Bandmasters Association State Concert Band Honor selections, 2 Rose Bowl Parade performances and 2 London New Year’s Day Parades. He was awarded the 2009 School, Band and Orchestra Magazine’s National “50 Teachers Who Make a Difference” annual award as Colorado’s representative. Bands taught by Mr. Roush have played for the leaders and presidents of Canada, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, European Union, Russia, Italy and the United States of America. Mr. Roush has served as a faculty member at the Bands of America Summer Symposium for the past 18 years. He has also been a member of the educational staffs at The Cavaliers, Crossmen and Santa Clara Vanguard.
Mr. Roush is currently Director of Bands at the Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii.
