June 21-23, 2025 – Leadership Weekend
June 23-28, 2025 – Full Week Symposium
Ball State University, Muncie, IN
ONLY at the Music for All Summer Symposium will you experience the most-intensive, non-stop, make-you-better approach to musicianship, performance excellence, and student leadership development. It’s THE leading summer camp for middle and high school band students and band directors, brought to you by Music for All.
For four decades, student leaders and band directors have looked to Bands of America for the latest in drum major and leadership training.
Improve your technique playing marching snare, tenor, or bass drum. This camp is perfect if you are new to battery percussion or a seasoned veteran. You will also learn more about marching and movement while working with some of the current “rockstars” of marching percussion!
Whether you are a beginner or experienced, the high school Color Guard Division is the perfect place to learn dance, flag, and weapon! Our curriculum immerses students in hands-on, experiential learning opportunities with leading instructors.
More and more students are having the opportunity to learn and perform in middle school color guards. We're here to help! Beginners learn from the fundamentals; those with some experience get to advance their skills. Fun and informative hands-on experience for students entering Grades 7-8.
The Concert Band Division returns to the Summer Symposium! Students have the opportunity to rehearse under the baton of an outstanding conductor, participate in sectionals and master classes, and the full Summer Symposium experience!
Middle school students can advance their skills on their instrument while growing their interest and involvement in band at the Summer Symposium. Our coordinators walk the walk as middle school band directors and have designed a curriculum that will be a fun, educational experience for students going into Grades 7-8.
Whether you are new to battery percussion or a seasoned veteran, hone your craft in playing, marching, and movement by working with some of the current “rock stars” of Marching Percussion!
Students work with and learn from award-winning recording engineers, professional musicians, and producers. With a hands-on production approach, interact with teachers and professionals while recording, mixing, and mastering. Learn the music theory and Ableton skills behind some of your favorite hits and hone your own songwriting skills.
Interact with student leaders from across the country at one of the premier leadership programs created specifically for music students.
At Music for All, we know that the most influential element in the success of students in music education is qualified, knowledgeable, and well-prepared teachers. The Music for All Summer Symposium Director Academy, led by Nola Jones, is recognized as the finest and most comprehensive professional development experience available for band directors and instructors of color guard, percussion, and marching and movement. We strive to make it accessible and fun!
