Program-Sponsored Registration (formerly known at "TBA")

Streamline the registration process for students supported by your band program. Use this form to prepay all or part of their tuition and provide them with a discount code to complete their registration later.

Reserve a spot for your “to be announced” students before the registration deadline to secure the best rate. Often this is used when a band program pays for certain students (like drum majors or section  leaders), they wish to get the best price before the deadline, but they do not know the specific names yet.

Note: Even if you use this process, registration needs to be completed by the attendee (and usually their parent). Directors and instructors should not register any students through UltraCamp.

Student Housing

Bands of America is thrilled to offer your student an incredible residential experience at Ball State University! Our modern dormitories provide comfortable accommodations, with each room housing two students and featuring semi-private bathrooms for added convenience.

Housing is supervised by our outstanding SWAG team to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Students may request a specific roommate, but please note that both students must have the same arrival and departure dates. For example, if one student arrives Friday night and the other arrives Saturday morning, they cannot be assigned as roommates. Roommate requests can be made in UltraCamp and must be mutual. While we make every effort to honor these requests, rooms will always be assigned by same-gendered students.

Please keep in mind that any roommate request changes submitted after May 20 will incur a $20 late change fee and we cannot guarantee that these requests will be honored.

Director Academy Housing

Bands of America is excited to provide directors with an exceptional residential experience at Ball State University! Director Academy attendees will stay in the modern and highly-rated Kinghorn Residence Hall, built in 2010. Kinghorn offers first-class amenities, including Wi-Fi, kitchen and lounge spaces, and semi-private bathrooms for added comfort.

The dorm’s convenient location is just a short walk from Worthen Arena, North Dining Hall, and the Student Center, with Director Academy sessions only a quick 10-minute walk away. Meals are  designed to make your stay seamless, with breakfast and dinner served at North Dining Hall and a catered lunch provided for all adult attendees and faculty each day. (Lunch location TBD)

What to Bring

Indiana’s June weather can be unpredictable, with temperatures ranging from 60°F to 90°F and high humidity. While all the Ball State University residence halls are air-conditioned, rooms can feel cool at night, so pack accordingly.

Be sure to bring comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes for walking, a sweatshirt or light jacket for cooler evenings, and rain gear like a poncho or umbrella. Personal toiletries, towels, and washcloths are essential, though Ball State provides sheets, a pillow, and a blanket. Don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a water bottle, a backpack, and a notebook with pens. You’ll also need attire for the final performance (specific to your track) and may want a beach towel and some spending money for snacks or souvenirs.

Please note that bikes, scooters, skateboards, small appliances, and inappropriate clothing are prohibited.

If you have already registered for camp, you can access detailed packing lists on the Participant Portal page.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel your registration before June 1, Music for All will retain $250 as a non-refundable deposit and refund the remaining balance. Cancellations made after June 1 are non-refundable, and Music for All will retain 100% of the registration fee.
