The Music for All Summer Symposium, presented by Yamaha, kicked off Saturday, June 25th with nearly 300 students and the Leadership Weekend. The 2022 camp is the first Music for All Summer Symposium since 2019 and we are so excited to gather together again at Ball State University.

Leadership Weekend students worked with Fran Kick and his all-star team of leadership faculty and staff. “Do better, be better” is a servant leadership message throughout this week’s Leadership Weekend. Over the next two days, leadership, and communication skills will be gained and honed, friendships renewed and sparked.

“Be better, Do better” is the student leadership message throughout the 2022 Leadership Weekend. Over the next two days, students will increase their awareness and leadership skills necessary to develop more leadership in themselves and within their organizations back home. Competencies such as self-motivation, positive attitude, communication, collaboration, relationships, personal responsibility, and nurturing confidence without arrogance will be honed, valued, understood, and applied. 95% of the Leadership Weekend students will be staying for the full week of the 2022 Summer Symposium. They represent 42% of the full-week camp all of whom will continue to lead all week long and help make things happen.

Congratulations to all of the students of the 2022 Music for All Leadership Weekend! We are so glad you are here.
